Reunion: leading music with former children's choir members for a choir member's wedding
Angela Marie Rocchio's (pronounced Róh-kee-oh) passion for excellence is at the heart of everything she does. Praised for her angelic voice, she has sung in many of the most prominent and beautiful churches and cathedrals in the country, and for international broadcasts. A top choice by event planners in Saint Louis, she has been engaged to sing for occasions in more than 60 Saint Louis area churches, and named a Best of Weddings and Hall of Fame winner with The Knot.
She was a soloist and the soprano section leader for the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis for several years. She has a wide spectrum of experience, from bilingual Hispanic weddings to the Traditional Latin Mass and a cappella liturgies. She is comfortable collaborating with other musicians as a soloist, or taking all aspects of your ceremony music to optimal level as your music planner.
Angela's excellent communication and interpersonal skills contribute to her success, with extensive experience coordinating musical events. She has working relationships with the finest classically trained musicians in the area. They perform with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and other prestigious Saint Louis organizations.
Her passion for singing sacred music overflows into her passion for teaching it. In 2021 she co-founded the International Chant Academy, and now teaches other musicians around the globe.
In 2017 she fell in love and married another professional singer, Michael Rocchio, and moved to Saint Louis, Missouri. When not singing, she enjoys crochet, watching classic movies, and spending time with Rocco, their French Brittany Spaniel.
